Hybrid Trucks - The Maverick and Ranger
The Ford F-150 and the Ford Maverick are the only trucks here that you can buy as a hybrid. You can make any Ford Maverick model a hybrid, but your options are limited for the F-150. If you would like to go green with an F-150 hybrid, you'll need to select the XLT or the Platinum; they are the only F-150 models that you can equip with a hybrid engine.
Trucks with Raw Power
Heavy-duty trucks produce high levels of raw power, they have the highest payloads, and they are nearly unstoppable. These kinds of trucks are present in our Super Duty line. Here, you'll find the dominant F-250 and its mightier counterparts: the F-350 and F-450. If you don't need a ton of power, the F-250 is a great place to start. It's fit for odd jobs and projects that will only require a modest amount of horsepower and torque. The F-350 is a slight step above the F-250, so it can effortlessly tow heavier equipment, like a boat on a trailer. As for the F-450, it's the mightiest model of them all; we highly recommend it if you need a truck that can handle the most grueling towing jobs around Post Falls, ID and Hayden, ID.
The Most Affordable Trucks
The base model from each Ford truck line is the most affordable option, but the most economical model overall is the Maverick XL, no matter if you opt for the original model or the Maverick XL Hybrid.
If you have your sights set on the Ford F-150, there are two clear economic paths forward. You could settle for the affordable Ford F-150 XL or pay a bit more and reap big benefits down the road with the F-150 XLT Hybrid. The hybrid is technically the better value because it will pay for itself over and over again.
A New Way to Get Charged Up
The Ford F-150 is also available as an EV; the all-electric version of the F-150 is known as the Lightning. You can do things with the Lightning that you can't do with a hybrid. For example, the Lightning has a frunk, and the original F-150 does not. It also has a battery that you can use as a power source during a power outage. If you'd like to learn more about the Lightning and its capabilities, charge ahead to Mike White Ford. We'll let you take the Lightning out for a quick test drive.
Ford Truck Cab Styles
Finding a truck and selecting a make and model is only part of the equation. There is a final piece to the puzzle; you have to select a cab style. At Mike White Ford, there are three Ford cab styles to choose from: you can opt for a regular cab, Super Cab, or Super Crew. The regular cab and Super Cab both have two doors, but the Super Cab has more space for passengers. As for the Super Crew, it's the largest cab, and it has four doors instead of two.
